Leeds College of Art Jessica ThompsonWith projects named ‘Pointless’ and ‘We are one’ which are featured at the exhibition as well as online, Jack challenges the conventions of production by outsourcing many artworks through online communities, inviting people to respond to an initial idea, to which they create a new piece. An example of this can be found in his piece Pointless, where responses have been received from people throughout the world such as from Portland Oregon, USA and from outside the Taj Mahal, India.

Also featured in the exhibition is work from BA (Hons) Printed Textile and Surface Pattern Design students Jessica Thompson and Charlotte Curtis, who have both recently won placements at Zoffany Design Studio, one of the world’s leading names in luxury fabric and wallpaper design. Jessica and Charlotte will also be exhibiting work at New Designers an exhibition in London for emerging talent.

The exhibitions are free and open to the public between Saturday 14th to Thursday 19th June at both Leeds College of Art sites, Blenheim Walk and Vernon Street.
