After Earth (12A)
M Night Shyamalan 2/10

The spaceship they are manning crashes onto earth, leaving Cypher with a broken leg and Kitai the duty of travelling cross-country to find a place to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash. Father and son must learn to work together and trust one another if they want any chance of returning home.

After Earth has been panned by almost everyone,  It is currently certified "rotten" with a rating of 10% on Rotten Tomatoes based on 164 reviews with the consensus: "After Earth is dull, ploddingly paced exercise in sentimental sci-fi – and the latest setback for director M. Night Shyamalan's once-promising career." It holds a score of 32 on Metacritic based on 35 reviews, which indicates "generally unfavorable reviews".

My View, is that the film  it not good, it lacks the action, and the acting is really bland and they have funny accents.

Most disappointing for me  is the film’s lack of ambition,  and it becomes just another tedious jungle chase movie.

I give it a 2 out of 10. I wanted to like it and didn't. See here for the trailer
