Modestep release official video for first single from forthcoming 'London Road' album
Modestep have just released their brand new video for the LP’s first single ‘Machines’
With just three weeks until the release of their second album ‘London Road’, Modestep have just released their brand new video for the LP’s first single ‘Machines’.
Perforated with mechanised samples, warped synths and the heavy bass that electronic fusion act Modestep have made their own, ‘Machines’ proves that the UK band is not content to stay within the fold.
The video for Machines, co-produced and co-directed by Modestep, sees the guys in a traditional rock band set-up with white zombie-eyes in front of an enormous TV screen - echoing the single’s man vs tech themes with Josh plugged into an IV drip. Masterfully shot by Tony and Josh’s brother Sam, the video is everything you’d expect from the group.
By seamlessly melding rock with electro influences Modestep have crafted their own sound that defies definition by genre- and ‘Machines’ is just a taste of what’s to come from the album due for release on the 25th May.
Modestep have just announced a one-off album launch event at Brixton Jamm on Saturday 23rd featuring performances from album collaborators and remixers including Big Narstie & Dullah Beatz, Cookie Monsta, Trolley Snatcha, Original Sin, Culprate, and of course a set from Modestep themselves.
