“Getting hot and sweaty makes you Ripe and ready” is the phrase, yet for some cities in the UK, winter is not stopping anyone from jumping into the sheets and getting their worlds rocked.
‘Students all over the UK are returning back to university this month and whilst many will be eager to get back into the library, others clearly have sex on their mind.’ Said Tom Thurlow, founder of popular Student hook-up site, ShagAtUni.
Created in 2012 by an ex student himself, Thurlow, 22, has uncovered through his website’s traffic analytics that the East-Midlands city of Nottingham is the place students are most likely to log in to do the dance-with-no-pants, with an average of 1,477 daily unique users looking to seal the deal.
The website boasts 100,000 users and is mainly used in conjunction with other, more radical dating apps such as Tinder, Her and Grindr, whilst simultaneously competing against them.
Oxford also made the list being third, with an average of 1,389 unique users on the lookout for someone to make their eyes roll back like ASDA prices.
Mr Thurlow believes it is a good thing Students were being more sexually adventurous, but encouraged safe sex.
The announcement comes 10 months after it emerged Cardiff had the worst Sexual Health facilities amongst the UK’s Russell Group Universities.
But if you are a student looking to get lucky, Plymouth is the place to avoid, missing out on ShagAtUni’s report altogether.
