With Results Day next Thursday, the Enquiries Team at Bishop Grosseteste University (BGU) have launched a dedicated hotline to offer support and advice to any students going through the Clearing process.

Clearing offers students who have not yet secured a place the opportunity to apply for ones that are still available and can seem a daunting and stressful prospect. But the Enquiries Team at BGU are doing everything they can to ensure that process is not only smooth, but possibly even enjoyable.

Dedicated Phone Line
Often one is the most comforting things when dealing with unexpected changes is being able to talk directly to someone (rather than filling out online forms or dealing answer machines). That is why from 8am on the morning of Clearing until 10pm, members of the Enquiries Team will be manning the phone lines to make sure you can quickly get the support you need. The Hotline number is 01522 583698 and through it students will not only be able to get all their Clearing questions answered, they may also be able to secure a university place.

WhatsApp Support
For any students who are nervous about phoning the Hotline BGU have prepared an alternative way to get Clearing questions answered. Students can also directly talk to members of the Enquiries Team through WhatsApp on 07598142383. Just as with the Hotline students will be able to ask any questions they have and may even be able to secure their place in Higher Education through it.

Clearing Open Day
BGU will also be holding an Open Day on Friday 17 August to offer first hand experiences of the University for any students who are still not confident on where they want to study (as well as for those who have decided BGU is the place for them).

Lecturers will be available to give students a taste of what the courses have to offer and they will be able to access all the facilities available at BGU including accommodation, gym and leisure spaces along with the impressively stocked Library and university archive. The Open Day is the best way to learn more about BGU and students can book their places by following this link.
