The 4 to 11 (Primary) QTS Programme at Bromley Schools' Collegiate is an excellent opportunity for graduates passionate about working with young children. This programme is specifically designed for those who wish to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in order to teach within the Primary age range, from Reception to Year 6. As a full-time training programme, it allows trainees to gain practical, hands-on experience while receiving high-quality training and support.
This course involves two placements in primary schools within the borough of Bromley, ensuring that trainees receive valuable experience across a broad age range. With a strong emphasis on child-centred teaching, trainees will learn how to address the diverse learning needs of young students, develop inclusive teaching strategies, and focus on the holistic development of children.
The programme offers an opportunity to become a reflective practitioner, with guidance from experienced mentors and facilitators who are drawn from our partner schools. As a trainee, you will engage in research-informed practice to continually improve your teaching skills and develop subject-specific expertise.
