JOB TITLE: EDS 2D Drawing Interchange Lead

WHAT TO EXPECT
You will be part of a team developing Jaguar Land Rover Electrical Distribution System (Wiring) in collaboration with the UK and Hungarian colleagues in the numerous system and component teams across JLR.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Taking inputs from 3D CAD, Logical schematics and product definition to create integrated wiring drawings for suppliers to use for manufacturing preparation.
- Managing design changes within controlled process
- Supporting the development of the component BOM and database.
- Supporting the development of design rules and processes.
- Interfacing and collaborating across functions, countries and working with suppliers.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
- Self-starter able to sustain a high, multitask workload. Combine Engineering with business skills.
- Ability to work within a team or alone with exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Must be computer literate, excel, word, powerpoint and easily adapt to company specific systems (previous knowledge in WERS, AIMS, RMDV, ECR’s would be a benefit but not essential as training can be provided).
- Good presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate to all levels within the company.
- Experience with CAPITAL XC and CATIA V5/V6 (3DExperience)
Desirable:
- Previous work within a multidiscipline Engineering team. Experience of technical problem resolution. A knowledge of System validation processes.
- Understanding manufacturing process of Vehicles
- Experience with the following tools: Team Center, DT Database, ECR Database, Digital Buck, EDS-Designer
