WHAT TO EXPECT
As the Assisted & Automated Driving V&V Enabler team we are responsible for the HW & SW tools used for the verification and validation of the next generation ADAS and ADS features and functions. Definition, design, development, deployment, and support of all HW&SW Engineering tools is required to ensure our customers receive world class products. We are currently embarking on a major transformation aimed to keep Jaguar Land Rover at the forefront of the automotive industry. As we progress on this journey, we are currently looking to expand our team with talented and motivated developers and engineers that will help us equip the business with the world class tools needed to engineer our vehicles. You will be joining one of our agile squads as a developer, working closely with your teammates and customers to deliver working capability at pace.
- You will architect, set up and manage our Extract Transform Load (ETL) data pipelines on the edge and in the cloud
- You will support software engineers in the integration and deployment of a wide variety of in-house and third-party software into our data pipelines.
- You will research and evaluate cloud services, tools and solutions to enhance our product
- You will support, embrace, and improve our Continuous Integration / Continuous Development strategy, supporting multiple software languages.
- You will develop and deliver technical documentation, user manuals and training to our internal customers.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Essential:
- Experience in architecting and deploying data processing pipelines on the edge and cloud (preferably AWS)
- A strong understanding of containerisation and experience in using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in scripting, preferably Bash and Python
- Experience in general management of both Windows and Linux based operating systems
Desirable:
- Knowledge of test procedures/verification and validation methods
- Experience in C++ or Python software development
- General knowledge of automated driving systems
- Experience of delivering with an agile environment
