The Financial Business Analyst position is primarily responsible for business analysis, forecasting, variance analyses and direct partnering with various business owners in the Customer Service area of JLR. . This role will be a key lead in financial data analysis for the department with exposure to senior leadership regarding recommendations based on detailed analysis and related findings.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Financial business partnering with various business owners across the CS function to understand, consume (past/present data) to assess the current/future impact on the overall JLR business

  • Own the forecasting and variance analyses process for specific business areas of the Parts P&L

  • Daily tracking of customer service metrics, source files, and Tableau dashboards / Provides daily reporting and analysis of CS results for the field and corporate management.

  • Perform analyses on available data sources and make recommendations as to how best represent CS metrics.

  • Working with business owners to drive revenue objective achievement.

  • Perform ad-hoc analyses as requested and other duties as required

  • Responsible for providing direct support in the preparation of the CS budget/forecast process through utilization of analytical data (i.e., historical trends, seasonality trends, etc.)

  • Supports budget/forecast variance analyses by providing relevant drivers obtained through analytical data (i.e., detailed retailer performance, etc.)

  • Perform other duties as required.

 

What you will need:

  • BA/BS in a financial or quantitative field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 3 to 5 years applicable experience in a related field

  • Advanced analytical and project management skills

  • Experience with Tableau, SQL, Google Big Query is a major plus

  • Must be very detail oriented with ability to manipulate large amounts of data

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint required

  • Must have ability to work cross-functionally

  • Must have strong business acumen and have ability to work with individuals at all levels in the organization

  • Automotive experience helpful but not required
