WHAT TO EXPECT
As Product Lead-Record to Report, you’ll provide business process enablement advice, knowledge, understanding, and SAP Solution Leadership within the SAP CoE (Centre of Excellence). Your focus will be on the key Record to Report (Finance, Controlling, Banking, Tax, NfE) process chain and the primary integration points.
You’ll form cooperative relationships with the business to provide guidance during periods of change. You’ll ensure all new developments (running changes or projects) build on the existing Jaguar Land Rover SAP record to report templates/solutions. This includes investigating and understanding new and emerging SAP solutions as well as taking part in Solution Design Authority meetings for running and project changes, providing process and design guidance and approval as necessary.
It is essential to the role that you’ll have the ability to conceptualise and communicate complex topics to senior stakeholders in a clear and precise manner. In this role you’ll have the ability to work under your own initiative and to tight deadlines planning, prioritising and controlling yourself, and your team. Inter-personals skills play a key role. You will need to be able to connect and empathise with the business and hold honest conversations around their requirements and enable confident decision making on solution options.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Leadership and Functional Governance within SAP S4/HANA Finance projects.
Structure and Lead a Finance Product team across programs and BAU activities.
Driving Future S4 Product Strategy with Finance Business Stakeholder.
Leading a team across multiple areas of Record to Report such as Financial Accounting, Intercompany and Consolidation, depending on project scope and across various stages of the project lifecycle.
Shape and deliver projects to meet and exceed our internal customers’ requirements.
Train, coach, and supervise team members.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
Led a minimum of three Project lifecycles in solution architect or lead functional consultant roles on a major SAP/S4 project or programme.
Experience in Treasury and Tax Compliance and Reporting
Extensive experience in SAP ECC FICO & S4 Hana Finance.
Knowledge of best practices in GL Accounting, Period End Close (Fast Close), Fixed Assets, Consolidation and Intercompany
