The Opportunity

 

The purpose of this role is to design, develop and deliver improvements to data and digital services HR using agile methodology.  Focusing on quality and employee experience across people and organisation processes. Harmonise, simplify and digitalise processes, managing a product backlog of opportunities to deliver the highest value to the business and employees.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration across multiple chapters and squads
  • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
  • Facilitate the prioritisation of work and allocation of resources
  • Help teams implement changes effectively
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
  • Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Understanding / experience of Agile Project Management and use of Agile techniques
  • Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
  • Experience of managing multi-skilled teams 
  • Above average IT skills and understanding of digital products
  • Experience in a scrum master role
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
  • You will have comprehensive experience in agile delivery and an in-depth knowledge of project management processes and techniques.
  • You must have excellent communication skills and be able to express technical subject matter in layman’s terms.

 

        Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in using Jira to manage projects
  • Experience in people processes and data
  • Scrum master certification is a plus
