WHAT TO EXPECT

 

This role is responsible for developing our system engineering capabilities in functional design space (logical domain).The individual is responsible for building and owning the generic system artifacts for new feature and capability in Torque Function for Jaguar Land Rover electrified propulsion system (Customer requirements mapping , feature/capability definition, Use case analysis, Logical architecture diagram, Functional Failure Analysis, generic functional requirements cascade, test case mapping, target generation and issue resolution for Jaguar Land Rover Powerpacks).

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Develop system engineering workstream and apply knowledge in electrified propulsion system.

  • Develop feature/function definition, use case analysis, requirments cascade, FFA, standards & DVP for Jaguar Land Rover electrified Powerpacks.

  • Lead technical reviews and resolve complex cross functional issues.

  • Develop methods & run technical studies into future technologies.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

 

Essential:

  • Relevant experience of working in a Systems Engineering environment within the Automotive Sector

  • Relevant experience in one or more of: system definition, system architecture development, requirements specification, design/performance modelling, Functional analysis of system, systems integration, system assessment and acceptance.

  • Relevant experience in propulsion system development

  • Understanding of Systems Engineering application and problem-solving tools.

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.

 

Desirable:

  • Relevant exposure in Propulsion/Powertrain Engineering in electric propulsion Systems.

  • Relevant calibration and control exposure in propulsion system

  • Relevant experience of working in Propulsion/Powertrain Engineering Torque Systems/EDU, Torque and Energy Arbitration

  • Full driving licence
