Vehicle Evaluation Manager
Grade LL6, local Nitra
Salary: From 3600 eur monthly, 0-15% yearly bonus, other benefits according JLR rules
OPPORTUNITY
The Vehicle Evaluation Manager is responsible for analysing internal and external quality data, leading cross functional teams and ensuring product quality audits are robustly carried out and analysed, in an effort to improve overall vehicle quality in Nitra.
The role involves collaboration with other teams within JLR to understand the current quality systems and processes, perform analysis to identify the best use of JLR resources and identify vehicle quality improvements.
It requires the confidence to go and engage with new teams and understand their challenges/requirements, a hands on approach to ‘go-look-see’ when an issue is found to understand the problem, and the ability to communicate new ideas and encourage others to move away from some of their traditional methods. The role requires the experience of working in either Quality, Manufacturing, Launch or Engineering.
The role also requires the ability to organise and manage multiple projects at once, and to prioritise a workload which is inconsistent and reactive to new issues, and to communicate actions and timing plans to stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITY
Lead the delivery of External Quality Metrics (0MIS, 3MIS and RSA)
Lead the delivery of Internal Quality Metrics (DFV and WCPA)
Lead the Quality Cadence 5F, DQR and PQR.
Support responses and analysis from WCPA Audit, Dynamic Audit (Incl. CoP / GRC)
Responsible for managing Stop Ships, Gate Holds and Critical Concerns for the Plant.
Responsible for the Problem-Solving Strategy for the Plant.
The driving force behind improvements in Quality culture.
Responsible for the governance of the NCM Process
Responsible for tracking the PSW and Alert Status
Any reasonable request from the Senior Plant Quality manger to support Nitra operations
CANDIDATE
Essential:
Experience and knowledge of Quality, Manufacturing or PVT.
Candidates must demonstrate drive, initiative and strong analytical skills, this is a hands on role and will involve spending time in the production environment to understand the issues/challenges
Can form strong working relationships with internal and external parties
Can manage and resolve a wide range of complex problems using problem solving tools and be a strong problem solver.
Applicants must be computer literate and have knowledge of relevant business systems (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc)
Ability to plan and prioritise varying workload and demands
Desirable:
- Experience in Company Quality and Launch.
- Experience in working in an Agile environment.
- Six Sigma Black belt trained.
