NatWest has relaunched its Student Account offer for 2026, including an interest-free overdraft of up to £3,250, £100 welcome cash and a free four-year tastecard membership.
The bank says the new offer is designed to help students manage the rising cost of university life, with an interest-free overdraft available from up to £2,000 in the first year and increasing to up to £3,250 by the third year.
New Student Account customers will also receive a £100 cash incentive and a four-year tastecard membership, both paid within 10 days of account opening.
The tastecard membership gives students access to discounts on food, drink, entertainment and shopping, including offers at restaurants and takeaways such as Black Sheep Coffee, Domino’s and Krispy Kreme. Students can also use Coffee Club for 25% off barista-made drinks, as well as access savings on cinema tickets and shopping.
The offer is available to both new and existing customers opening a NatWest Student Account online at www.natwest.com/students.

Students opening the account will also be able to use money management tools in the NatWest mobile app. These include spending insights, Split Bill, Request Money, Round Ups to help build savings, cardless cash, quick transfers from other banks and in-app credit score tracking.
NatWest says the tools are designed to help students keep track of their spending, share costs with friends and build better financial habits while at university.
