Come join us for a fun-filled day at the LSCFT Student Event! We are excited to gather at the Ellel Village Hall, located at Main Road, Galgate, Lancaster, UK. It's going to be an amazing opportunity to connect with fellow students and have the opportunity to network with some of our amazing teams across the trust! 🎉
Join us on Thursday 11th January 2024 at 9:30am, when a member of the trust's senior team will open this exciting Student Learning & Careers Event with Lancashire & Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.
This in-person event is a great opportunity for students interested in healthcare to learn about the various career paths available.
You will get the opportunity to participate in informative workshops and presentations with guest speakers that will help you gain a better understanding of what LSCFT has to offer to staff & service users.
WE ARE PLANNING TO LAUNCH:
* Our pre-preceptorship offer to students who will be coming to work with us, which will start in the 3rd year of your training.
* A new role for student champions to enhance the network of support for our learners within LSCFT- there will also be the opportunity on the day to nominate other students/put yourself forward for the next cohort of Student Champions!
*Our brand new student pack which was a collaborative piece of work with current students working across the trust!
Opportunities to learn, meet our teams and apply for posts:
We are excited to have various guest speakers at the event to talk about their services and provide learning opportunities! We are also planning to have some previous service users come to share their journey & experiences with their own mental health to our students.
At the event, you will have the chance to meet and network with professionals from LSCFT, Including Mental Health inpatient services and teams, Physical Health teams, Networks, AHP teams, Recruitment, Diversity and Inclusion, Safeguarding, Unions, Health & Wellbeing Services & many more!!!
You can also apply for a Nursing or AHP post within LSCFT, before or at the event via the QR code on this EventBrite link (QR code will be visible at the event also). Interviews will not be held on the day, but at a later date giving you the opportunity to visit our teams at the event before you have your interview.
