Student Sustainability Research Conference 2023

Tuesday, March 28, 2023 Parkinson Building Woodhouse Lane, Leeds

The Student Sustainability Research Conference is back in 2023 with presenters from 11 Yorkshire-based institutions!

The Student Sustainability Research Conference is back in person on Tuesday 28th March after two years of being online. Opened with a welcome address from Prof. Jeff Grabill, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Student Education at the University of Leeds, the day will be full of innovative and exciting sustainability-related student research. An inspirational keynote speech in the afternoon will be followed by a number of poster awards before the conference is closed by Katie Clegg, Deputy Director of Sustainability at the University of Leeds. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, as well as a free lunch.

The conference will include presentations, workshops, art and interactive exhibits, performances, and academic posters. The focus is on inspiring, sharing, and learning. Reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of sustainability, the research presented addresses many different aspects of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

With a theme of collaboration, it will for the first time have contributions from students at 12 higher education institutions across Yorkshire, making this event more inclusive and collaborative than ever before.

The full schedule and delegate handbook will be released in the coming weeks. Secure your ticket now!
